Cook the Meat: Add the ground meat to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon.
Add the Spices: Stir in the cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for 1 to 2 minutes to allow the spices to release their aromas.
Incorporate the Beans and Tomatoes: Add the kidney beans and crushed tomatoes. Mix well, then bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and let simmer for about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
