  • 500 g of fresh or frozen jute leaves
  • 1 liter of chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
  • 4 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons of ground coriander
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil or butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin (optional)
  • Lemon juice for serving
Preparation of the recipe

(Français) If you are using fresh jute leaves, rinse them well and chop them finely. If using frozen leaves, thaw them.

Heat the oil or butter in a saucepan over medium heat.

Add the crushed garlic and ground coriander. Sauté until the garlic is golden and fragrant.

Pour in the chicken broth (or vegetable broth) and bring to a boil.

Add the chopped jute leaves and let simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring regularly.

Season with salt, pepper, and cumin if desired.

Serve hot, drizzled with a bit of lemon juice, accompanied by rice or bread.
