  • 250 g pasta (spaghetti or linguine)
  • 2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 50 g butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish (optional)
Preparation of the recipe

Cook the Pasta: Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in a large pot of salted water. Reserve about 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water before draining.

Prepare the Sauce: In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.

Add the Black Pepper: Stir in the ground black pepper and cook for about 1 minute to release its aroma.

Toss the Pasta: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss well to coat the pasta. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of the reserved cooking water until you reach the desired consistency.

Finishing Touch: Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Adjust the salt if needed.

Serve: Serve hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley and more Parmesan if desired.
